Cindy participates in the Employment & Employee Benefits, Health Care, and Litigation & Dispute Resolution Practice Teams.

Cindy work at HP | LLP focuses on private and public sector employers as part of our Employment & Employee Benefits team.  She assists clients with employment application and hiring issues, employment policies and employee handbooks, FMLA and reasonable accommodation requests, employee discipline and termination, and responding to charges of employment discrimination.  Cindy helps employers identify and resolve worker misclassification and overtime status errors.  She also regularly drafts employment and severance agreements for employers and executives.

Cindy frequently helps large and small companies avoid or resolve employee benefit plan problems. She assists with plan audits and with voluntary compliance program applications. She also guides employers as they wind down and terminate benefit plans.

As part of the Health Care Practice Team, Cindy monitors and analyzes legislation and regulations affecting physicians, nurses, and pharmacists. She is also experienced in assisting health care providers with state licensing for outpatient clinics and clinical laboratories.

For the Litigation & Dispute Resolution Team, Cindy regularly drafts motions to dismiss and summary judgment and appeals briefs, manages and conducts discovery, and helps prepare the team, the client and the witnesses for trials and hearings.
